**What we need**:
Smilegate Barcelona is looking for an experienced and talented HR Director to join our Operations Team. We are looking for an individual who has experience leading and managing the HR team of a growing game development company.

**What the role involves**:

- Assessment of current HR policies and continuous improvement.
- Design and implement new HR policies in cooperation with Senior Leadership and parent company.
- Review and design HR Systems, tools, and processes.
- Ensure company compliance with HR as well as internal and external counsel.
- Help implement a Performance Reviews process with HRBP.
- Adopt new talent development practices for engagement.
- Draft and manage the HR Department budget.
- Team Management.
- Internal communications for HR related matters.

**Role requirements**:

- 5+ Year of relevant HR experience in AAA video game development companies, either scaling or well established.
- University Degree in HR, Business or other relevant fields.
- Extensive experience and knowledge in talent management practices and tools.
- Mentor and lead the current HR Team.
- Strong communication skills for cross-cultural communication.
- Excellent organizational skills

**Desirable**
- Proven knowledge of labour laws of Spain and other EU Member States
- Knowledge of the AAA game industry ecosystem.
