**Overview**:
As the Applications Marketing Director, South WE, you will have ultimate responsibility over the marketing plans, results and resources within South WE (France, Italy, Iberia). You will oversee a team of around 11 team members, with either solid or dotted lines. You will work closely with Sales to gather requirements and develop the marketing plans in support of growth objectives, in full alignment with the go-to-market strategy. As part of the EMEA Applications Marketing team, this role involves working closely with key stakeholders including Sales VPs and their teams, Sales Development Managers, Digital Demand Generation, Campaign managers, PR, Social Media, Operations, and Alliances & Channels.
**Essential** **Responsibilities**:
- Define and implement an integrated marketing plan across South WE, organizing and executing demand generation activities that generate new prospects as well as providing leadership for creating and accelerating opportunities for the sales team.
- Drive awareness and demand for Oracle’s products.
- Deliver the marketing KPIs for the region, including increased account engagement, increased contactable customers, and pipeline generated and influenced.
- Form direct relationships with your sales stakeholders, ensuring sales priorities are met within your marketing activities.
- Allocate marketing resources and budget to be deployed using the most appropriate marketing mix for the region.
- Work closely with other stakeholders that will help you meet your objectives e.g. digital marketing team, business development team, customer marketing team, events team and social media team.
- Define the marketing plan and manage budgets and scheduling
- Oversee execution of the marketing plan.
- Communicate regular progress updates to your key stakeholders.
- Lead a team geographically distributed across the region to deliver the required results, providing direction and mentoring to your team.
- Perform effective performance management: set clear goals for all staff, engage employees, provide regular performance feedback, and work with team on their development plans.
- Implement organizational changes in line with changing business & market needs.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Have 12+ years of demand generation, marketing program, and/or channel marketing experience with a B2B IT company: proven marketing success with SaaS solutions is a benefit.
- Be disciplined, organized and demonstrate the ability to lead others to success. Experience managing multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization.
- Strong influencer and relationship-building skills, great determination and drive, and excellent execution skills are required to ensure that you can deliver high return marketing plans and strategies.
- Data driven and analytical.
- Budget & project management skills.
- Ability to navigate large, complex & matrixed organisations.
- Seniority to address Oracle executives.
- Be able to prioritize, delegate and manage multiple, potentially conflicting tasks.
- Be able to work effectively with a creative, global workforce and within a virtual team.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen, to be perceived as a solid partner to Sales.
- Have experience in successfully using sales and marketing systems and tools, and analytics to monitor and measure results
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where individual initiative is critical.
**TRAVEL**

As a manager in product marketing, you will be responsible for leading the development of company marketing specifications for specific product(s) or product line(s). Manage marketing activities within the context of the overall corporate plan to meet company objectives. Monitor the development of business plans and business results of e-marketing. Manage lifecycles and product positioning in the market place. Identify customer needs, oversee market research, and monitor the market trends/competitive landscape. Implement and monitor advertising campaigns. Act as a technical advisor for specific product(s). Initiate and foster relationships with development, sales, and other groups to develop new products or enhance functionality of existing product(s) or product line(s).
