**Technica Engineering** is an electronics manufacturing company in the field of vehicle development. We develop and produce our own software and electronic products, as well as offer consulting services to our customers for new development and test projects. Our technical expertise in the field of automotive Ethernet and ECU development allows us to offer technical solutions in topics such as embedded ECUs, on-board networks, ADAS, safety, body function, comfort function, gateway and many more.
**We are currently offering you a position as an Framework Development Group Leader in permanent employment in Vigo, Spain.**
The ideal applicant has a background in programming, telecommunications or electronics and has already experience in the daily tasks related with testing or with concept designing.
**Requirements of the position**:
- Professional experience in automotive, telecommunications or software development industry
- Engineering background (Preferable Telecommunications or Computer Science)
- Experience managing technically and disciplinary mid-sized engineering teams (5 - 15)
- Good OO programming skills in Python, C++ or C #.
- Full professional proficiency in English language
- Good communication skills
- Good organisational skills
**Nice to have**:
- Knowledge in the field of Ethernet protocols, e.g. ARP, IPv4, IPv6, TCP / IP protocols
- Experience with network technology (e.g. switches, VLANs,...) as well as with protocols.
- Good understanding of the technical development processes for software development and testing.
- ISTQB Certification.
- Project Management certification (Prince2,...)
**Your tasks in the company**:
- Disciplinary:_
- Lead an engineering team, develop and maintain resource plans for the group that align with the expected results for your area of responsibility, whilst setting the direction for your team and supporting them as required.
- Be the lead point of contact on technical projects in your work area, interfacing with worldwide offices and clients and with other departments of the company.
- Train/coach the team members in your area of responsibility on operations and technical understanding to help them grow.
- Technically:_
- Analysis of design specifications of our customers in the automotive industry.
- Test planning, definition and implementation of test concepts and test cases for embedded systems in the vehicle.
- Commissioning and implementation of ECU tests on the HIL and PIL simulation.
- Development of automated test cases and test frameworks.
- Planning and implementation of sw modules for testing over Linux and Windows.
- Design and build Prototypes and proof of concepts for the area of responsibility.
- Use of Technica Engineering's own products as test tools.
