We are looking for a Junior Controller/Analyst to join our GF_Finance & Controlling, Accounting team in Spain.
**Your main tasks and responsibilities**:
- Perform controlling activities of Sulzer Management AG, including financial analysis on actuals vs. budget and prior month forecast.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure a smooth monthly closing. - Assist with IT closing activities, from reclassification to correction.
- Maintain the HQ cost centre structure in SAP.
- Participate in financial planning of Sulzer including monthly rolling forecast and annual budget.
- Notably, drive the entire process behind the Sulzer service and IT fee from cost collection, fee calculation and fee invoicing.
- In that respect, act as key contact for business controllers and legal entities throughout the world.
- Act as business partner to cost centers owners and global functional heads.
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
**To succeed in this role, you will need**:
- Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting, Finance or Controlling.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis or controlling, preferably in corporate finance.
- Prior exposure to overheads controlling and headquarter processes such as service fees.
- Advanced financial modelling skills (Excel) and strong knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Analytically strong person with high energy to drive for result.
- Highest degree of accuracy and precision / good attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and ability to prioritize responsibilities, tasks and processes.
- A flexible and adaptive team player with a positive attitude. Fluency in English.
