Key Accountabilities:
- Underwriting: Assess and underwrite financial lines risks for clients, ensuring accurate pricing and risk selection.- Risk Management: Develop effective underwriting strategies to preserve and enhance profitability while managing risk.- Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of business, including product development and enhancing existing offerings.- Pricing Discipline: Maintain strong pricing discipline, using market analysis to ensure competitive and profitable pricing strategies.- Client & Broker Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients, delivering tailored insurance solutions and providing excellent service.- Collaboration: Work effectively with peers and internal teams to share insights, improve processes, and achieve company objectives.- Continuous Improvement: Leverage technology and data analytics to streamline underwriting processes and improve operational efficiency.
Professional Experience & Skills:
- Underwriting Expertise: Strong background in underwriting Financial Lines, with experience in the Spanish market.- Analytical Skills: Solid problem-solving abilities and the capacity to analyze data to make informed underwriting decisions.- Business Development: Proven ability to generate profitable business and manage relationships with brokers and clients.- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Financial Lines products, pricing, and market dynamics.- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with brokers, clients, and internal teams to facilitate business growth and resolve complex challenges.
