MLC/FI Senior Underwriter (Financial Lines) Make your mark in Underwriting AIG’s underwriting teams help customers find insurance solutions in Financial Lines, Property & Casualty, Environmental, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients and High Net Worth individuals. We are transforming our operating model and career pathways to unlock the full potential of our colleagues. About the role Underwrite assigned risks. Develop and nurture relationships with brokers. Identify cross‑selling opportunities across various Lines of Business. Drive the sales process for new products. Assist the Front Desk/Customer Service Group. Maintain a target list and generate submissions to meet net‑book targets. Apply underwriting concepts, practices, procedures and techniques. Review, evaluate, and recommend modifications to underwriting guidelines. Provide technical direction to management underwriters, producers and claims staff. Job Requirements Extensive and relevant experience in Financial Lines, D&O (MLC) and Financial Institutions underwriting. University degree in Law, Business Administration or Economics preferred. Fluent English (written & spoken). Outgoing, entrepreneurial and results‑driven personality. Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills. Excellent teamwork and cross‑functional collaboration. Client‑focus with solution orientation and problem‑solving mind‑set. Ability to work with humility while meeting high performance standards.
