This is our

Web Analyst role for those who want to turn ideas into reality and participate in improving Semrush’s analytics tools.

Tasks in the role
- Configure and maintain GA4 and GTM to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of website data.
- Tag Management: Manage tagging strategies and ensure consistent implementation of tracking tags across digital properties.
- Development, Optimization, and Maintenance of different data integrations, both with Google services and third-party tools.
- Stakeholder Technical Support: Provide technical support to internal teams for troubleshooting analytics issues and implementing tracking requirements.
- Document tracking implementations and best practices.
- Provide training and support to internal teams as needed.

**Requirements**:
Who we are looking for
- Strong communication skills (cross-functional teams, different stakeholder levels).
- Strong proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
- Experience with web analytics tools and methodologies, including tracking implementation, data collection, data analysis, and reporting.
- Understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
- SQL middle+ level to extract and analyze data.
- Understanding of basic concepts for data export from GA4 to DWH.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio or Tableau.
- You have programming skills (HTML/CSS/JS).
- Google BigQuery.
- Airflow, dbt.
- A/B platforms like Optimizely, VWO.
- Consent Mode and CMP.
- Git.
