**Market Access Alliance Director OBU**

**Purpose of the function**:
Market Access Alliance Director leads Value and Access and Pricing strategy and develop value proposition for the Oncology Daiichi Sankyo’s Alliance DS-AZ products.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- **Value and Access Strategy**:

- Lead the Value and Access and Pricing strategy through the Alliance DS AZ agreement.
- Lead the Value Propositions according to Brand strategy and tailoring the strategy to stakeholders needs.
- Lead with HEOR & Pricing Manager the P&R process and evaluations (IPT, Genesis, Catsalut.). Anticipate the strategy for the evaluation process at all levels (national, regional and account).
- Working together Comercial, Medical, BI, Finance Communication and Regulatory Department to alignment the brand strategy and positioning of the products, and the Alliance Forecast.
- Support to Market Access Director at Market Access and Pricing strategy of the Oncology Daiichi Sankyo’s Alliance products.
- **Negotiation**:

- Lead the negotiations of the Oncology Daiichi Sankyo’s Alliance products into the Alliance way of working
- Active collaboration with the Director of Market Access Oncology during Access and Pricing negotiation with Health Authorities.
- **Lead the value proposition for all stakeholders**:

- Play an active role in the Alliance Executive Committee, leading the Market Access and pricing strategy.
- Member of the Oncology Leadership team.
- Continually deepen understanding of healthcare environment anticipating trends and communicate accordingly (Market Access Director, Value & Access Managers, HEOR & Pricing Managers, Head of Regional Market Access and In Field Team: Commercial Director and Therapeutic Area Lead.
- Map, partner and define the strategic actions (multichannel approach) with relevant access stakeholders to accelerate and maintain Oncology Daiichi Sankyo’s Alliance products access to the market.
- Anticipate opportunities and risk of the Access Environment for the oncology Daiichi Sankyo’s Alliance products
- To guaranty the execution Value and Access, and pricing Strategic and Tactical Plan, leading the Value & Access managers and Pricing and HEOR Managers and aligning with the Head of Regional Market Access
- **Market Access in Field base Regional Access Coordination**:

- To Coordinate the Market Access strategy with the Head of Market Access Managers
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of customer perspectives through regular engagement with payers (e.g. in-field visits).
- Provide in field market access team with materials, strategies and tactics aligned with Strategic Objectives of the Brand & Value and Market Access.
- Continuous up-date on brand strategies and tactics that could impact in the time and conditions to access to the market all Oncology Daiichi Sankyo’s Alliance products.
- **Compliance with Regulations**. Application of and compliance with internal and Spanish regulatory procedures for clinical research, medical activities and communication.

**Professional experience & education**:
University Degree and MBA is highly value; Experience in similar position at least 2 to 3 years; Expert in Oncology; Experience in complex negotiations.

**Personal skills**:

- Experience working with payers, HTA bodies or within Pharma environment. Experience in building effective working relationships with a broad range of cross-functional stakeholders internally and externally.
- Knowledge of Spanish healthcare environment, market mechanics, healthcare policy and funding pathways (knowledge of established cost-containment measures used to manage pharmaceutical expenditure in Spain.
- Knowledge of reimbursement and market access processes/issue.
- Knowledge of pharmaco-economic principles and HTA requirements.
- Knowledge of local payers mindset and motivations.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing principles.
- Negotiation skills
- Spanish (native) and English language (fluent)
- Ability to identify and generate scientific and pharmaco-economic data relevant for payers
- Ability to understand and develop recommendations for epid
