**Key Responsibilities**:

- Overall financial strategy of the company, collaborating with shareholders, board members and the whole team to set the vision, strategy and roadmap
- Budget planning and management
- Monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting based on historical results
- Address financial risk and opportunities for the company
- Evaluate new possible investments or funding options with founders
- Treasury & financial control reporting and accounting, managing resources and cash flow
- Conduct profit and cost analyses, recommending cost-reducing solutions
- Ensure all accounting activities and audits comply with financial regulations
- Attracting, building and managing the finance team

**Who are we looking for**:
The role is based in Madrid, Spain.
- Proven work experience as a Head of Finance, Director of Finance or similar role
- First-class communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication is of critical importance.
- Fluent in English and Spanish. Additional languages are a plus.
- In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping
- Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models
- Proficiency in accounting tools
- Solid analytical and decision-making skills
- Leadership abilities
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- MSc/MBA or relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus
