We are looking for a Director of Housekeeping for an ultra luxury hotel brand in Ibiza.

**Main responsibilities**:
Ensures guestrooms, public areas and Hosts areas are cleaned according to operating standards.
- Initiates and maintains an effective inspection program including rooms, public areas, locker areas, storage areas, laundry areas, etc.

Supervises and approves the budgeting and ordering of guestroom and cleaning supplies.
- Manages areas of operation to budget by reviewing operating statements, budget worksheets and payroll progress reports.
- Manages department controllable expenses and cost per occupied room to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.

Support the Rooms Operations Manager and focus on the rejuvenation of the rooms, residences, public areas and laundry experience.
Work in partnership with Front of House, Reservations, Culinary and F&B to ensure guest's needs are determined and met and oversee the overall smooth operation of Housekeeping department.
Directs Hosts to strive for continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.
Interviews and hires management and hourly employees with the appropriate skills
To beresponsible for an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure. In the event of guest complaints, I will effectively carry out service recovery or charge our hosts to do so to the satisfaction of guests.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel or Business Management.
Possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
In terms of housekeeping management,intuitive sense of product and service quality, a passion for excellence and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer.
Technical skills include Advanced MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including OPERA platforms. I have the knowledge of hotel/resort and policies on room allocation etc.
Fluent in English and good at Spanish.
Valid Spanish Work permit or European Union citizenship is required for this role.
