IVD Solutions is the business within Medical dedicated to the design and manufacturing of microfluidic products, targetingmostly In-vitro, Research Use Only and Cell culture market segments. We are the partner of choice to Life Science OEMsfor the design, clinical validation and manufacturing of microfluidic devices, enabling rapid diagnosis and novel treatmentsresulting in healthier lives.

You will be responsible for gathering and accurately recording data and for effectively reporting results to senior staff in reports and presentations. He will collaborate with other team members to integrate and automate new assays into innovative microfluidic platforms.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist in setup and running experiments to test microfluidic chips designed in-house for novel uses and downstream analyses. Performs rigorous testing necessary for translation of assay protocols meeting customer requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports on the results of experiments; discuss the interpretation of results with relevant project leaders to help identify issues and areas of improvements.
- Maintain microfluidic laboratory workflow and inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment as needed for laboratory operations.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

**What your background should look like**:
**Required qualification**:

- Higher Vocational Training program (CFGS) related to Laboratory/Biology with two years’ of related clinical/research experience.
- Alternatively, you may have an Engineering or Biology degree.
- Experience performing laboratory protocols, preferably diagnostic assays and/or microfluidic protocols. The abilities to maintain detailed experimental records and communicate effectively are required.
- Must be willing to learn new laboratory skills.
- Visual concentration, attention to detail and manual dexterity are required.
- Must be able to perform repetitive work (i.e., sample processing) with a high degree of concentration and attention to detail.
- Intermediate English language (B1), fluent level preferred.
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment to accomplish required tasks.
- Experience with basic computer programs including PowerPoint, Word and Excel is required.
