**CIB is looking for a STRUCTURED TRADE ASSOCIATE, based in our BOADILLA DEL MONTE office.**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As a **STRUCTURED TRADE ASSOCIATE, **you will participate in structuring & execution of Structured Trade transactions (Inventory financing, Prepayments, asset based lending, long term lending secured by commercial contracts, etc.) across the globe, developing existing Santander´s Structured Trade product offering.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Business origination: Assist the different Santander geographies on the origination of Structured Trade transactions, including assist client meetings and preparing marketing material
- Analyze cash flow models to assess financial capacity for financing transactions
- Lead the structuring and execution of Structured Trade transactions across geographies, from agreeing indicative terms and preparing initial term sheet to full execution of the transaction
- Manage the end to end approval process of transactions with business and risk departments
- Implementation of new products and enhancement of existing ones in order to boost the origination of the products in Santander´s geographies

EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of accredited professional experience, highly valued if it is in Project Finance departments of an international financial institution.
- International experience will be a plus.

EDUCATION
- Economics, Finance, engineering or other related degrees.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of trade and commodity finance will be positively valued
- IT Skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Languages: Spanish, English (Fluent).
- Knowledge of a third language (especially Portuguese) will be positively valued
- Experience in the negotiation of legal documentation would be a plus
