As a Senior Manager, you are part of the Service Delivery Architecture team and responsible for designing how Alight’s service offering within Payroll & Cloud International will be delivered to our clients in the best, fastest and smartest way. The focus is to design the global process standards, translate these standards in system configuration standards and develop the proper end user guidelines and procedures. The specialist area we are looking to strengthen the global team with are Payroll and Core HR processes
**The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Own the design of global service process standards in line with Alight’s requirements and industry best practices
- Own the translation of these global process standards into system configuration standards
- Own the development of global desktop procedures, operational guidelines and templates, and key stakeholder briefing packs
- Own the approach for deployment of new and improved process standards and solutions
- Own definition of user requirements to enable the development of functional and technical specifications by the products team, user experience team and global technology team
- Own engagement with key internal stakeholders to enable the development of their deliverables based on ALIGHT’s global service standards
- Own the collection of data points that allows to identify value and non-value-added process and system steps
- Support the definition of Alight’s strategy and roadmaps for Products organization as appropriate Educate internal and external stakeholders on our global service standards and product features
- Represent Service Delivery Architecture as part of sales/pre-sales efforts as appropriate
- Contribute to any project across Products organization when needed
**Team Management**
- Increase the quality of the team by good recruitment, training, development and by effective coaching and feedback
- Ensure appraisals and professional development of staff are effectively maintained and adhered to by using the appropriate tools
- Establish governance by discussing regularly updates, risks and issues in order to properly address those as a team
**Required Skills for this position**:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent combination of education & experience
- Profound knowledge of all aspects of your domain expertise
- 8+ years of operational experience within the requested domain expertise
- 4+ years of experience in operations outsourcing experience
- PC Literacy - Word, Excel and Power Point, MS Visio and/or other Process Flow software (advanced level)
- Superior language proficiency in English
- Systematic approach to problem solving with a desire to create a better future for our associates and clients (design thinking)
- Excellent written and verbal communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong analytics skills
- Client and quality focused
- Ability to negotiate skillfully to achieve the right outcome for all parties including management, senior leaders and customers
- Ability to collaborate and work in a global team environment across different geographies (teamwork) as well as to work independently and make sound decisions
- Financial analysis, analytical and budgetary skills
- Excellent people management and strong leadership skills
**It would be desirable if you also have**:
- Detailed knowledge of Alight contract standards
- Certification(s) related to your area of expertise such as CIPP, APA, COPC, GPHR, SPHR, Lean Six Sigma, design thinking and project management methodologies
- Experience in HRIS systems (Success Factors, Workday, Peoplesoft, Oracle Fusion, SAP) and/or payroll systems
