**Salary**: £27,000 - £30,000 basic pa + bonus (circa £33,750 - £37,500 pa after bonuses) and a company vehicle

We now have an opening for an **Area Manager (South)**. If you are someone who wants to develop their career at a management level, then you could be the person we are looking for.

**About the role**:
**Key responsibilities for both company owned and franchise stores will include**:

- Conducting franchise/store visits for training, mentoring and ensuring adherence to procedures and brand guidelines
- Supporting the training and coaching of new store staff ensuring they adhere to all H&S policies and guidelines
- Consulting, advising, and working closely with the Regional Manager and Senior Operations Manager to develop strategies and processes to support the business owners/stores
- Conducting visits to outside organisations with a view to building brand awareness in the assigned area and mentor staff to conduct their own visits
- To use problem solving methodologies and business judgment to develop strategies to improve the stores’ business and solve problems
- Consulting with, advising, and providing support to business owners regarding daily business issues
- Assisting in the opening of new stores, and relocation and refits of existing stores
- Preparing and disseminating detailed reports on store visits
- Providing store and workshop engineering holiday cover

**Our ideal Area Manager will**:

- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Be computer literate
- Have the ability to work under their own initiative and work as part of a team to achieve high standards
- Be confident in providing training and feedback
- Have experience in either an area manager, business development or similar role in retail

A DBS disclosure will be required for this position (for which Ableworld will meet the cost)
