Experience required:

- Bachelor in Engineering, Science, Economics or Business Administration.
- +5 years Experience in ESG, +10 years financial services or consulting in CIB.
- English min. C1 level.
- Self-motivated, highly adaptive and able to work well in a demanding environment.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Office product suite Excel and PowerPoint. Google Suite experience will be a plus.
- Expertise in Commercial Data Bases & Tools (eg. Sustainalytics)

**Overview**

Overview

The mission of the Global Clients Strategy team is to set up and design the Global Client’s Strategy, budgets and business plans, coordinate teams, activity follow up and provide enough resources to achieve unit’s goals.

In terms of sustainability, the Strategy team is responsible for:

- Develop the unit’s ESG agenda: new client segmentation, sectorial plans for the alignment of the Group’s Portfolio, incorporation of new ESG elements in the admission process, monitoring of clients’ sustainability strategy
- Regarding the new segmentation, continue to make progress to recalibrate the sustainability axis and align the approach with the other ESG elements developed in the Group (TRI, portfolio )
- Develop a follow-up of the clients' sustainability strategy and of the clients' commercial strategy aligned with the sectorial plans defined in the portfolio alignment

About the job

The mission of the position is to develop specialized knowledge on Clients' Sustainability Strategy; establish key ESG metrics to monitor Clients' sustainable path and support global bankers to align the Client Portfolio to Group commitments and to promote growth and boost business linked to the sustainable transformation of GCC Clients

Among others, the position will be responsible for:

- Support the development of the area's sustainability agenda: new client segmentation, sector plans for the alignment of the Group's portfolio, integration of the new ESG elements in the admission process, monitoring of the clients' sustainability strategy, etc..
- Develop specialized ESG knowledge and expertise in Client's strategic transformation to support ESG commercial strategies and initiatives definition with GCC Clients.
- Promote the monitoring and coordination of Global Client's sustainability plans, implementing governance models to track key ESG metrics.
- Develop, support and/or implement initiatives in Global Clients focused on helping BBVA and CIB meet its sustainability strategic lines.
