Description
**What this position is about - Purpose**:
This position exists to ensure JTI is protected against current and future cyber attacks. The Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager will define and maintain the scope of Threat Intelligence (TI) according to relevance and risks. He/She will additionally ensure the TI service is adequately delivered by our Security provider and consistently integrated with the other security platforms and services.
**Requirements**:
**Education**:
University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Electrical and Computer Engineering or relevant/equivalent experience working in Information Security
**Desirable**:
Certifications (any security certification like but not exclusive to the following): CEH, CISSP, OSCP, GIAC
**Work Experience**:
- 3-5+ years experience using and managing a Threat Intelligence Platform, building integrations with these platforms, and supporting peers/internal customers in their use of these platforms.
- Experience working within Information Security supporting/performing incident response, Red/Purple Teaming, threat hunting, threat intelligence, forensics, or similarly related experience.
**Language Skills**:
Fluent English written and spoken.

- Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability
- Understanding of industry standard threat frameworks (Lockheed Martin Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Model, MITRE ATT&CK) and how these frameworks can be applied at scale
- Familiarity with nation state, criminal, and financially motivated actor groups

Main Areas of Responsibility (maximum 5 items) Level Definition ( in order to, what results ):
Partial 1. Coordinate and maintain, with the Security Serivce provider, CTI tooling implementation and technical integrations with SOC services and JTI IT infrastructure. Maintain a prioritised CTI roadmap to address gaps and improve practices.
Partial 2. Manage the Threat Intelligence lifecycle, including identification of new and emerging threats and then devise the means to use this insight in the creation of detection mechanisms.Full
Partial 3. Establish and enforce terminology, reporting requirements, and automation to ensure consistent analysis. Communicate threats to management, IT and Business community in a consistent voice and format.Full
Partial 4. Coordinate with service owners to assess threats and align controls across platforms, evaluate security incidents to identify patterns including the tactics, techniques, and procedures, and use the data to predict threat trends.Full
Partial 5. Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple JTI Information Security functions as part of the organization’s security effort.
