**Purpose of the position**

We are looking for a committed M&A Analyst who would enjoy financial modelling and is passionate about the energy industry. The role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within the Group.
**Main responsibilities and duties**
- Participate in buy side cross border transactions
- Company valuation and deal structuring
- Assisting in the preparation of pitches
- Gathering data and creating financial model analyses
- Generating models for valuation metrics
- Building company forecast models
- Analyzing company performance on an absolute and relative basis

**Qualifications**:

- Tier 1 university degree in finance/economics
- 2-3 years' buyside experience in M&A gained within an energy company, investment banking, private equity or Big4 transaction services
- Experience in due diligence, excellent financial modelling skills
- Experience in energy space is highly appreciated
- Fluent in English, Spanish and German skills are highly appreciated
- Strong research and strategic analysis skills
- Good data gathering and organizational skills and ability to meet short deadlines
- Attention to details and presentation skills
