**How you will create an impact**:

- You design and develop existing policies and implement newly defined and created policies
- You handle and escalate IT security violations and ensure that critical issues and security incidents are properly identified and escalated
- You advise on necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure IT security
- You support compliance certification procedures (ISO, SOC)
- You audit / Co-audit existing IT security structures and procedures on location or remotely
- You conduct Risk Assessment and Support Risk Analysis
- and Management
- You revise the implementation of technical and organizational measures - especially such necessary after an incident - including forensic measures where necessary and possible
- You advise company associates on IT security requirements, procedures, and policies during projects
- You oversee and monitor threat management platforms, such as Solarwinds Orion / SIEM tools (e.g., Rapid7) and take appropriate mitigation / resolution action where required

**Your profile**:

- Relevant educational background (apprenticeship or studies) in Informatics or Information Security
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar IT security position, ideally in a global company
- Understanding product
- or process-oriented procedures and systems (e.g., On-Premise and Cloud)
- Experience in risk assessment
- and management as well as project management
- Knowledge in Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) for example ISO 27001, SOC context, certifications are a plus but not mandatory (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.)
- Fluent English language skills
- Flexible way of thinking, ability to focus on building sustainable solutions and strong analytical skills
- Strong initiative and self-starter, advanced time management and organizational skills and comfortable working in a virtual environment
- Strong motivation to self-educate, attend further education programs and to keep the level of knowledge up to date
- Conscientiousness and interest in process documentation
