Technical Accountant for Latam

We are looking for a Technical Accountant for LATAM to join a multinational company based in Barcelona.
Tasks
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be responsible of the timely and accurate data preparation on a local GAAP basis for external reporting to Tax Authorities, Auditors, Statistical Office.
- You will have to work with the Team leader on the timely monthly reporting for US GAAP in accordance with the Company’s Month-end Closing schedule.
- You will have to work on the preparation of the local GAAP Statutory Accounts for our clients' legal entities in LATAM in a timely manner which includes the preparation of working papers and related schedules for the Statutory year-end audit process of the Statutory Financial statements with the objective to obtain a clean sign-off audit opinion by the Statutory year-end auditors.
- You will be responsible for the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly/quarterly basis in line with company policy. If the preparation of the account reconciliations requires the cooperation with peer groups and/or with other functional areas,
- You will be responsible for ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations are completed and filed correctly.
- You will set your own priorities and work plan within the overall framework of the Financial accounting group and corporate deadlines.
**Requirements**:
You have 3- 5 years’ experience as finance analyst and/or accountant in Big 4 firm or recognized multinational company.
- You have working experience in an international team with other accountants.
- You have experience working with SAP.
- You have experience of US GAAP and IFRS.
- You have a degree in Financial Accounting.
- You speak fluent English and Spanish ,any other European languages will be an asset
- You have experience of working in a team with other part qualified and qualified accountants.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
