**AI Engineer at Barcelona (On-site) for an international client**
**Job role**: AI engineer.
**Location**: Barcelona (ES).
**Languages required**: English (C1).
**Studies required**: Engineer (Bachelor/master’s)
**Minimum experience required**: 5 to 7 years.
**DESCRIPTION**
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate development and deployment processes.
- Implement and maintain unit testing frameworks using Pytest to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, cloud-native AI solutions.
- Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adhering to modern software development best practices
**Knowledge And Skills**:
- Strong programming skills in Python, particularly with the FastAPI framework.
- Knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- Understanding of cloud-based architecture and services, especially within the Azure ecosystem.
- Familiarity with unit testing methodologies and tools, especially Pytest.
- Proficient in containerization and related tools like Docker.
- Experience working in agile or fast-paced environments focused on scalable AI solutions.
**Technical abilities**:
- Python and FastAPI.
- Docker.
- CI/CD.
- PostgreSQL and NOSQL (MongoDB).
- Microsoft Azure services: Azure Functions, Web Apps, and Container Registry.
- Pytest.
- Experience with Claude Code or similar advanced AI coding tools. NICE TO HAVE.
**Education**:
- Bachelor/master’s in engineering.
