Overview:
The Information Technology team is looking for an IT Infrastructure and Networks Technician to provide technical assistance, both on-site and online, to students, professors, contractors, and staff, answering questions, solving technical problems, and maintaining the company’s network equipment and servers. As well as deploy new networks projects.
**Responsibilities**:
**Key Action Areas**:
- Give support to the resolution of stakeholders’ technical incidents
- Understand the needs of different stakeholders in order to identify and specify technical solutions to support them
- Installation and configuration of network hardware and software devices
- Installation and configuration of Windows and Linux servers
- Programming scripts in Powershell, Python, Ansi
- Manage servers and network devices
- Manage Virtualization and Hyperconvergence systems
Qualifications:
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree
- High level of written and spoken English and Spanish
- 3 years of experience in IT Operations departments, technology or consulting companies is desirable
- Knowledge of network systems, networks, servers, tcp/ip stack, routing, and web and mail servers
- Knowledge of Wireless systems
- Knowledge of Office 365, Outlook, One drive, SharePoint, Teams, Google Apps and Active Directory
- Knowledge Windows, Linux, DNS, DHC, Radius
- Knowledge monitoring systems
