**Job Description**:
We are currently recruiting for a **Roads and Rail** **Civil Engineer** to join our Madrid Linear Infrastructures team. We are working on stages as early as feasibility studies up to detailed designs on a wide range of projects, either as a standalone civil infrastructures team or as part of multidisciplinary teams.

Our clients are from the private and public sectors and include long-term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most important Civil projects in Europe and Spain.

**The responsibilities of this role include**:

- Independently preparing design calculations or reports related to civil infrastructure elements.
- Leads or support the design of road and railway projects on a variety of tasks including geometric design, but also coordination with other disciplines (drainage, structures, geotechnical, etc.).
- Performs civil engineering work in accordance with the agreed-upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
- Performs a self-check of work products prior to submitting to others and participates in quality control reviews of documentation originated by equally or less experienced staff.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering
- Proven track record of working in civil projects, ideally 3-5 years.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (oral and written)
- Advanced level using CAD software (preferably AutoCAD and/or MicroStation).
- Knowledge in geometric design and 3D modeling using any of the following software: Autodesk Civil 3D, Istram, Bentley OpenRail/OpenRoads Designer, etc.
- Knowledge of Pavements will be considered favorably.
