**YOUR MISSION**

As a Supply Operations Manager for Regional Operations (Africa) you will work as a goalkeeper of the main operational metrics (Active couriers, new couriers, courier retention, funnel conversion,etc). This role will require a **mix of analytical skills, operations**, **stakeholder management**, and **creativity to tackle different challenges**. **THE JOURNEY**
- Be responsible for Supply Operations levers, including courier compensation and incentives management, supply and demand balance, delivery times optimization, courier positioning and zoning, implementing logistics features on regional level and many more from data perspective: providing deep analytics, creating dashboards, automations and data simulations.
- Define and implement regional processes for **courier acquisition, courier funnel optimization, courier onboarding excellence, newbies quality, retention**and many more.
- **Scale up processes to the whole region**while ensuring the right balance between localisation and centralisation. Ensure our supply is balanced, operating each lever available in a controlled and data-driven way.
- **Monitor and track the metrics**on a weekly basis and come up with **plans to address opportunities**.
- You will be **leading**a regional team, consisting of one operational lead and two strategic operational analysts.
- Act as sparring partner for local Operations Teams and Country Managers and help them with assessment of the current status of supply Operations, build along with them effective strategies for the countries considering market context and reassure seamless execution and delivery of the best user experience in the region.
- You will combine advanced analytical data insights with **business understanding** and **market knowledge**.
- **Travel often** to gain insights into local realities, build relationships with the local operations team, and understand the local challenges firsthand.
- **Collaborate with teams across all levels** to ensure we deliver the** best product** for each country.
- Report directly to the Head of International Supply.

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE**
- 4+ years experience; background in high-growth tech startups, operations, marketplaces, consulting or similar industries is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Statistics or related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in SQL and Excel is a must.
- Fluency in English.
- Willing to travel to exciting African countries.
- Experience managing stakeholders in a matrix organization, or deploying projects across multiple countries, is a plus.
