**Who are we?**

**The team**:
As a Senior UX Researcher at Smallpdf, you will be part of the Document Editor Domain together with a Group PM and Data Scientist, as well as with designers, PMs and engineers from the three product teams within the product area. In this team, your goal is to understand our users and give direction to the product and strategy. In particular, you will be guiding initiatives to understand how people manage, edit and organize documents and help product teams shape the experience of 40+ million users from all over the world.

Your responsibilities: *
- Plan, conduct, and analyse generative and evaluative user research.
- Combine data-driven and qualitative insights to influence company-wide decisions with the voice of the customer.
- Deliver compelling insights to the product teams and help them shape their roadmaps.
- Develop frameworks and processes to help product teams run user studies more smoothly.
**Your profile**:

- Bachelors, Masters or PhD in the field of Human Factors, Social Sciences, HCI, Computer Science, Product Design, or other field emphasizing human behaviour.
- Experience with multiple qualitative and quantitative methods, which may include user interviews, surveys, diary studies, ethnographic research, and usability tests.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Good time-management skills.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success.
- Critical thinker with problem-solving skills.
- Team player.
- Excellent command of English, both verbal and written. Any other language is a plus
**Nice to have**:

- Experience with large-scale surveys
- Experience with mixed methods research
- Basic SQL knowledge
