Description of the position:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced engineer to be integrated in the Offshore Wind Department in Ferrovial Construction’s Engineering Services.
In addition, She/He will contribute to support the development of floating wind farms, evaluate other innovative concepts from technologists, including contributions to innovation and industrialization of floating wind farms, in collaboration with other business areas.
She/he will support the definition of technical solutions, management of contracts with external engineering firms, preparation of responses to tenders and management of R&D projects.
The 200+ staff in Ferrovial’s Construction Engineering Services will provide full support to the highest technical standards in the different engineering disciplines involved - geotechnical, structural, M&E, etc.

**Requirements**:
MS degree in naval, mechanical, offshore or civil engineering.
Preferable 10-year experience in floating platform design for offshore wind turbines, knowledge in fabrication and/or construction of oceanic substructures, and in the performing technical due diligences and assessing technology maturity.
Experience with design for dynamic stability, mooring and station keeping systems, structural analysis, in steel or concrete.
It will be valued the experience or equivalent design certification process.
Ability to lead teams, develop and follow through design programs, and direct and supervise a substantial team of external consultants in the different disciplines required.
Advanced level of English. Readiness to travel frequently.
