**Pricing Actuary Spain** We are InShared: an online insurer that does everything just a little differently. We started as a disruptor in the Dutch insurance world. Now we are on our way to expand internationally. We use smart technology to make our insurance services simple, fast and fair. Our goal is to build the best digital insurance product in the world. Today, we are a team of 350 people, but soon we could be 500. To continue growing internationally, we are looking for entrepreneurial and energetic people who want to keep shaking up the insurance industry with us. What do we need? A Pricing Actuary who helps us to predict the likelihood and potential risk and costs of future claims. **What will you do?** As our Pricing Actuary for the Spanish insurance market you will be responsible for the dynamic adjustment of our pricing models, utilizing market data and conversion analysis to optimize profitability. This role requires meticulous data analysis and management, aimed at identifying market trends, detecting potential fraud, and enhancing pricing accuracy through statistical modeling. You will develop alert systems and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing insightful reports on pricing strategies. In order to develop effective training models that are competitive with other insurers in Spain, a strong mathematical foundation is needed. Next to that you are proficient in SQL, R/Python and other relevant tools. But most important of everything you have a deep understanding of the Spanish insurance market, from Property & casualty insurance till Motor and Home insurances, to ensure competitive and profitable pricing outcomes.
