As a scale-up company with several offices across Europe, we are looking for team players, free spirits, creative dissenters, humble gurus, and technology experts who understand the big picture; and this is where you come into play. We are looking for a Country Manager (Spain) to join our team in Barcelona.

**Your mission**:
The primary mission of the Country Manager (Spain) is to lead byrd’s expansion into Spain. The Country Manager is to at once represent byrd in Spain, expand the byrd business model into the country and build on our existing client base; all while maintaining byrd’s culture and values.

Tasks

**You ensure that**:

- The ES growth strategy is developed, reviewed and updated on a regular basis
- A local ES byrd Commercial (Marketing & Sales) team is built and constantly developed
- byrd ES executes on it’s monthly/quarterly/yearly growth targets
- byrd departments are aligned (Sales, Technology, Product, Data, Pricing and Procurement, C-Level) on the execution of the ES strategy
- Each byrd ES team member is clear on their role and targets
- The byrd ES team has all the resources needed to reach its targets
- Growth blockers for the byrd ES team are addressed and removed, where possible with local resources
- The byrd team (in particular product and operations) is aware of certain blockers and their impact on the ES business (based on business case)

**Requirements**:
**This is who you are**:

- Based in or close to Barcelona
- MBA or equivalent (ie. Masters degree)
- Extensive experience working in the field of e-commerce/logistics
- Native Spanish speaker with excellent (C1 or above) English language skills
- Proven track record of entrepreneurship and/or business development
- International education and/or work experience
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Proven track record of strong client focus
- Good network within the e-commerce and / or logistics world is a big plus
