Tooling Engineer

We are seeking a competent and results driven dual role Tooling/Process Engineer to join our team. This position will be responsible for leading the design, development, and production readiness of injection tools for new launches in EU plants, being part of the project cross functional team. Your main RREs will be related with project management and Tooling/Process technical knowledge.

**What You Will Do**
- Design and optimization of injection molds for technical plastic parts.
- General design works for feasibilities studies.
- Participate in Moldflow revisions to define injection strategies.
- Review and approve tools construction in a close collaboration with external partners.
- Evaluation of measuring results and definition of necessary corrective actions.
- Collaborate and support with internal CFT members.
- Stablish and verify robustness processes.
- Keep tooling timing and cost accountability.
- Travel to field, vendor facility and job sites for product inspection and injection tools validation.
- Determines functional and dimensional acceptability of tools during first article inspection.
- Support production plant during launches.
- Basic administration of responsibilities and documents.
- Assist in resolving tooling/processing related customer and internal inquiries.
- Assist Sales with technical support.

**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Experience in design of tools or injection process for automotive sector.
- Good communication skills, proactive and team worker.
- Self-motivated - able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
- Fluent in English.

**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Experience working in project new launches.
- Experience with supplier management.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills.
- Economic thinking.
- Experience with CAD environment (CATIA, 3D tools, NX, Solid works...) tools and CAM machining programming.
- Kowledge of Autodesk Moldflow Communicator
