**Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?**
- As a Senior Project Manager, you will use your experience in technical project management and customer facing positions to plan, coordinate, track and manage project(s) to successful completion in both a local and virtual environment.
- Within 30 days of employment, you will successfully develop and maintain project plans including charter, scope, work breakdown structures, estimates, resource plans, budget, task dependencies, schedule, open issues, risk assessment, management and mitigation plans across multiple work streams.
- Within 60 days of employment, you will develop change management skills as you work to quickly define and manage overall project risks and take corrective action in a proactive manner to mitigate risks and prevent issues.
**What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?**
- Provide clear and timely communication regarding the status of the project - schedule, budget, progress to date, risks etc. - to relevant stakeholders
- Follow VMware’s project management methodology and ensure that projects adhere to the defined methodology and stage gate process
- Engage with Sales and Account teams to identify/drive account growth opportunities
- Drive continuous improvement of project processes - methodology, templates, best practices etc. based on lessons learned from projects
- Collaborate proactively with the SOLA Team to position our PMO value on current and new engagement
- Direct and monitor work efforts on a daily basis, identify resource needs, perform quality review and escalate functional, quality and timeline issues appropriately
- Travel - 25% or more may be required
- Use your IT project management and Technical certifications to deliver IT automation and cross-cloud solutions.
- Speaking and writing Spanish and English fluently

Her experience has been built in many years of activities in the IT market, managing successfully teams in Professional Services Sales and Delivery covering software development, infrastructure solutions and Security. She is managing the PS Delivery Iberia team for the past 6+ years, achieving great results, putting attention to technical leadership, empathy, quality and customer satisfaction. She is always looking for Collaboration and Teamwork across VMware and promoting customer centricity mindset.

**Where is this role located?**
The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from the Madrid VMware office, customer location depending on projects requirements and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager.
