High Voltage Director/ Senior Manager

METKA EGN ( Mytlineos), a utility-scale world class EPC, is seeking a full-time permanent HV Director/ Senior Manager to join our team in Spain.

**Position Details**
- Responsible of the Construction of the Grid Connection works in all the projects from my company in Iberia.
- Supporting the projects for BoT or EPC model regarding the HV works.
- Follow up all the procedure of the certification of PV according to the NTS and Royal Decrees with directly communication with TSO or DNO.
- Managing the subcontractor’s agreements according to the specification and requirements of my Com-pany and/or Client.
- Responsible for the design, contracting, purchasing, construction and commissioning of the entire High Voltage part, controlling the planning to meet milestones with the end customer.
- Management of Grid Connection permits with the System Operator, Industrial Ministry and local Dis-tributors according to the Operational Procedures.
- Carry out of all the procedure and testing with System Operator (SIMEL) for the good working of the Metering system.
- Follow up all the procedure of validation of the PV with the Operator System (REE), assisting to meet-ings or calls in order to fulfill all the legal and technical requirements.
- Managing the communication and testing with Operator System Dispatch Centre

**Preferred Work Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years proven track record in HV systems
- Experience in classic automation and HV switchgear’s relays multi-line diagrams is highly appreciated

**Other **(qualifications, certifications, professional memberships etc.)**:

- SMSTS, or IOSH or other equivalent
- First Aider Certificate
- Full clean driving license
- Competent Microsoft Office User
- Awareness of electrical safety rules and competency to prepare electrical safety rules
- City Guilds 2391 - Test and Inspection or current equivalent.
- City Guilds 2382 -18th edition wiring regulations or current equivalent.
- City Guilds 2330, 2360 or 2365 Electrical Installation or current equivalent.

**Education Requirements**:
Electrical Engineering background

Knowledge Requirements (Technical Competencies):
**Essential**

Minimum 7 years of professional experience as field technician for PV Solar projects

Up to date industry recognized AP course (HV AP 2/ AP3 Authorization)

NVQ3 qualified Electrician

Good mechanical knowledge

Proficient in electrical systems design and solar connections

**Desirable**

Test equipment/ able fault finding / VLF testing /IR
