We believe that working with data excites you. You like being creative when working with data and understand the greater value and potential you create for IKEA. We think that you are a hands-on (Senior) Data Steward with a great understanding of both data and people.

You will join a diverse team within Data & Analytics consisting of data analysts, data scientists, data engineers, data stewards, and machine learning engineers based across Sweden, Netherlands and Spain.

- Thinks strategically about data and its usage, considering the larger picture and impact it makes on all areas of the business
- Excellent communicator able to connect with different audiences and stakeholders
- Able to quickly grasp business concepts and translate them into business rules
- Very organised, attentive to details and concise in written communication and documentation
- Has service mindset and not afraid to take ownership of his area
- Great understanding and knowledge of Data Governance at scale in a large organisation
- Excellent knowledge of data models and ability to translate them into practical improvements
- Extensive knowledge of data quality standards and how to implement them
- Good knowledge of data ethics related challenges in society and how they impact operations in IKEA (collection, storage and usage)
- Extensive understanding of data privacy regulatory frameworks, and how to actively work with compliance at IKEA in different markets
- Hands on with SQL for data validation and overseeing data quality
