**Portfolio Change Manager**

**Purpose**:
Develop & drive change management strategy for products in the DSE portfolio that enables the true north objectives for Vegetables R&D to build an automated End-to-End data
- and decisions-centric pipeline.

**Scope (global, regional or local)**:
Global

**Key Tasks**:

- Orchestrate changes to the DSE portfolio of projects, products, and initiatives ensuring alignment with strategic goals and maximizing overall success in product design, development, launch, support and retirement
- Guide the business through the transformational journey required to test, launch, adopt and retire solutions.
- Define strategy and drive operations and reports for DSE portfolio in Aha and ADO
- Define and track portfolio robustness with regard to how well our products meet mid
- and long-term strategic needs of the Veg R&D organization and partner with DSE leads to better enable initiatives by filling in the gaps or remove misalignments
- Develop change management plans for implementation of digital workflows with stakeholders for advanced data platforms and analytical methods.
- Lead the portfolio process by directing DSE team members through project initiation, stage gates and documentation.
- Partner with DSE operations guides and science catalysts as well as Enterprise partners to plan and account for development resources needed to proceed through design, development, launch and support
- Work closely with business and IT partners to ensure timely delivery of end-to-end IT systems within budget.
- Manage IT projects, prioritizing backlogs and driving the execution of deliverables that support program goals.
- Serve as change management contact between IT and business users and enhance business awareness of IT project deliverables by developing communication plans and project updates.
- Acquire a deep understanding of end-to-end business processes and strategic imperatives.
- Identify growth opportunities for additional advanced data analyses, digital systems and platform enablement.
- Demonstrated ability to engage both end users and business leads across functions then clearly represent and communicate the needs of the functions.
- Define and track project success metrics to ensure delivery of anticipated business capabilities.
- Demonstrate ability to think and perform independently, problem-solve and prioritize high-value work related to DSE objectives

**Qualification & Competencies**:
Education/Experience
- PhD +8 years’ experience or MS +10 years' experience or BS +15 years' experience in areas related to Agriculture, Life Science and/or IT.

Skills (Technical & Soft)
- Demonstrated R&D domain knowledge in lab and field experiment management;
- Knowledge of or experience with advance breeding pipelines, digital workflows and technologies;
- Thorough understanding of IT product pipelines;
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management;
- Demonstrated matrix project leadership and proven ability to grow relationships with key partners;
- Excellent written and oral communication; complete proficiency in English with ability to coordinate and clearly communicate information between technical IT teams, scientists and business stakeholders;
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and influencing skills, problem solving which drive digital change management strategy effectively with international and interdisciplinary teams;
- Demonstrated project leadership and influence skills that develop trusting partnerships with cross-functional teams, leading to lasting digital change.
