**The Role**:
Trainee Program for 18 Months on the base of a permanent contract.
After successful traineeship the role is a HR BP
In this role there will be a close relationship with the Senior HR BP to learn how to deal with the HR Processes, but also to learn how to deal with challenges in this sometimes-stretching role. The Trainee HR BP be involved in EMEA-Wide Processes, Country specific Processes, HR Process Rollouts and Manager Initiatives.
Additionally, there is a close relationship to HR BPs, HR Ops and HR CoE Colleagues and the respective Business Initiatives in TA, Engagement and Location Strategy.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- HR Business Partnering has the clear focus to support “the business” throughout the HR Calendar of the Annual Year. This includes events like Goal Setting, Talent Reviews, Performance Conversations, Employee Surveys and Merit Increases and Bonus Payments. In this role the HR BP is also an advocate on both sides - to the business, but also to the colleagues in HR who work in HR Ops or HR CoE.
- Additionally, the HR BP supports “the business” in managing the Employee Lifecycle of their staff, by understanding the process from hiring to saying goodbye to Employees, so it will also include to understand the needs of the managers and employees in the detail as well on strategic level. In this task, impeccable customer service skills are helpful.
- HR BPs are also responsible to have an ear on the ground, listen to managers and employees and establish a sense of fairness in transparency in how we treat out employees. It is important to be a sensor to understand internal needs and external trends, while keeping an economic view onto the investments we want to make.

What is important for an HR Business Partner to be successful?
At AMS the HR BP is sort of HR for HR - which is unusual in the industry. The HR BP will find people having an idea about how Employee Engagement should look like and how to achieve it. Therefore, this role is different to other HR BP in other industries.
