We are looking for top-tier **EMEA Payroll Manager** who would lead the operational payroll duties for our EMEA footprint. You would be responsible for the support and oversight of day-to-day payroll operations including funding approvals, issue escalation and resolution, resourcing, vendor management, change order processing and management and defining and implementing processes and controls. Furthermore, you will also support projects including acquisitions and other payroll related initiatives.

You will work closely with HR Business Partners in the U.S., EMEA and APAC plus other key stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of payroll and other key HR projects.

**THIS IS A CONTRACT/CONSULTING - TO - HIRE POSITION. (long-term full time position)**

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work with the team to create operational plans and plan activities in line with the defined roadmap.
- Be a resource and guide for all country Subject Matter Experts
- Engage effectively with stakeholders across payroll; HR and Finance.
- Create and maintain project governance documentation.
- Facilitate/own project forums, meetings and workshops.
- Effective management of associated risks, issues and dependencies.
- Support project PMO with project budget and financial processes.
- Manage and help in the hiring of Payroll Analysts within the EMEA region
- Indirectly supervise both permanent and contract payroll SMEs in certain countries
- Lead project management for an active acquisition project, including integration efforts in partnership with the HRIS team, as well as our stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Talent Acquisition and Leadership
- **Must have strong overall Payroll experience throughout the EMEA region**:

- Ensure project roles and responsibilities are clear and tasks are assigned correctly
- Communicate clearly and succinctly with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and meet objectives
- Participate in acquisition integration meetings, author and distribute regularly scheduled written updates, and present updates to executive management
- Must have experience processing payroll in at least 3 of these countries: Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom

**SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS**:

- At least 7 - 10 years or payroll experience with at least 5 years of experience LEADING EMEA/Global payroll operations
- Good understanding, and practical experience of project management practices and procedures
- Bachelor's degree
- Must be organized and process oriented, PMI certification a plus (not required)
- Experience in HR transformation, process changes and implementation
- Senior-level experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, human capital consulting, or related field; EMEA experience is REQUIRED
- Experience of planning and executing projects of varying size and complexity involving but not limited to areas of recruitment applicant tracking systems, performance management systems, reward, and recognition programs, HRIS implementations and acquired company HR migrations
- Very strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage key stakeholder relationships across the organization
