This is what we believe it takes to be the steel company of the future. **Introduction** The scope of these projects will be the IT Asturias Cluster Industrial Applications. This includes 5 sites: Asturias, Sagunto, Etxebarri, Sestao and Lesaka. You will work closely with other IT teams (at regional and group level), infrastructure and process automation teams to: - Ensure compliance with Group standards and policies - Provide business with innovative, but stable and cost effective solutions - Infuse new technologies and industry’s best practices - If required by the service you could be asked to be part of a "guard duty" team. **What does the job entail?** - Leading IT software development projects, promoting and supporting innovation. Always looking for standardized, optimal and industrialized solutions. - Ensuring projects are delivered with the required service level respecting scope, schedule and budget. - Collaborating with various stakeholders to determine software requirements. - Providing the development team with architectural blueprints to follow. - Evaluating, identifying and designing high-level software solutions. - Overseeing, supervising and guiding the work of development team. - Locating and directing solutions for critical challenges involving software and hardware integrations - Troubleshooting and resolving issues with coding or design - Presenting regular progress reports and setting goals - Testing the final product to ensure it is completely functional and meet requirements Required solutions for new technologies: - Angular - .NET Core - REST services - SSIS - SQL Server along with previous technologies: - Winforms - Visual Basic - COBOL - DB2 - CICS Transaction Gateway The workplace is mainly Asturias, Spain (Avilés and/or Veriña). **Who are we looking for?** - Master’s degree in Computer Science or some other technical discipline - Advanced level in Spanish and English, French is a plus - A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role acting as project manager and/or software architect. - Project management. Responsibility on demand management, resource management, follow-up and reporting about projects. - Leadership and team management. This requirement is critical since this person will have to take the lead of a team composed by both ArcelorMittal internal employees and subcontractors. - Change management. One of the main challenges of the projects to be implemented from this area is to get properly accepted and adopted by the end-user themselves.
