Matrix Renewables is a renewable energy platform that was founded by global alternative asset manager TPG through its impact investing platform, The Rise Fund, in 2020. **The Role**

**Key activities and responsibilities**:

- Managing typical M&A transaction from desktop analysis to closing (Modelling, Q&A, managing advisors, communicating results)
- Conducting financial analysis of new markets entries
- Actively monitor financial returns from M&A closings / acquisition of projects to developers through the financial close of debt financings
- Assisting in the writing of investment papers and memos to support our overall investment process
- Providing financial skills support to other parts of the business and transaction phases on an ad-hoc basis
- Manage Matrix’s Investment model to support key business decisions

**General Skills / Attributes**:

- Experience: for analysts at least 2 years of relevant experience at a top-rated financial institution or IPP (bank, ‘big 4’, buyside and/or corporate-strategic)
- High level of financial modelling in project finance (particularly in renewables projects)
- Strong analytical skills
- A proactive and highly motivated self-starter with a commercial approach
- A strong communicator with the ability to deal confidently and build relationships with colleagues, advisors and investors
- Language abilities required: English and Spanish
