Our client is an important multinational pharmaceutical organization (company) which develops and manufactures API’s ingredients and finished dosage forms. This company have two manufacturing plants in Spain and another one in Malta which is expanding.

Are you looking for a new professional challenge in Malta?

They are looking for a Production Manager. The person will be the responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output.

Main Functions:

- Direct and coordinate manufacturing operations in alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Be directly responsible for the goals of the Production Department of our finished dosage form facility.
- Manage the full production cycle, from long term scheduling of manufacture to the delivery of final product to the customer.
- Ensure that products are produced on time, are in line with the quality standards set and are produced at the minimum possible costs.
- Request from the Quality Control department analysis of raw materials and products which are necessary as part of production processes, and to use such analysis in the correct development of the products/processes.
- Manage the planning of the manufacturing schedule.
- Manage a team of production personnel, including manufacturing operators who work on a shift-basis.
- Evaluate scientific data resulting from the department’s operations.

Aptitudes y conocimientos deseados:
Requirements: - A University Degree in Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Science, with a postgraduate qualification in Management. - Have a minimum of three years’ experience working in a production/GMP environment. - Ideally have previous experience in a managerial role. - Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. - Computer literacy and good command of MS Office Applications.
