**A JOB THAT INSPIRES YOU**:
**Purpose of the role**

As Junior Project Manager, you are responsible contributing to the business development pipeline of projects with international and bilateral partners, primarily the EU. You will contribute to identification of business leads, preparation of expressions of interest, and coordinating the preparation of tenders.

**Key responsibilities**:
**Business Development**
- Identification of international technical assistance business opportunities
- Identification of experts and partners for business opportunities
- Preparation of Expressions of Interest
- Active participation to the preparation of tenders for business opportunities
- Other technical and commercial tasks such as participation to fact-finding missions

**Project Implementation**
- Support to implementation of our ongoing projects
- You will manage and expand our network of experts, clients and partners;
- You will build and maintain a positive image of B&S Europe with key partners & stakeholders.

**Teamwork**
- You will contribute to B&S working groups and cross-cutting activities;
- You will participate in GOPA Group related activities.
- You will participate in GOPA Group related activities.

**A BACKGROUND THAT CONVINCES US**:

- A university degree in a related field, i.e. International Relations, Political Science, Law, Sociology, Economics etc.
- At least 2 years of experience in business development activities in the international development sector;
- An understanding of topics related to Governance;
- A genuine interest in B&S Europe’s mission and values: honesty, empathy, professionalism and dynamism;
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and verbal; other languages (French, German, etc) will be considered as an important asset
- Computer-literacy (MS Office, Adobe, Project Management software, Canvas e.g. are desirable skills)
- You enjoy building and nurturing strong working relationships over time with a variety of stakeholders;
- You pride yourself in delivering high quality results within sometimes difficult timeframes;
- You are very “hands-on” and you are comfortable juggling priorities;
- You are a proactive problem solver with a can-do attitude;
- You are willing to travel 10% to 15% of your time;
- Above all, you are a true team player with a friendly, open personality and a sense of humour.

This position is based in **Spain **in a hybrid format.
