Marketing Data Analyst

**Job Purpose**

The Marketing Data Analyst (M/F/d) will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large amounts of data from various sources to help drive business decisions.
The role is within the Team Digital Marketing & Customer Engagement. While the core team itself is situated in our global Headquarters in Basel, the bespoke position is in Madrid, Spain.

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Run end-to-end marketing and sales campaign reports by accessing various data sources such as SAP BW, Google Analytics, and Digital Advertising Platforms.
- Provide, consolidate and build internal and external reports for clients analyzing KPI achievements and assess the success of campaigns using tools such as PowerBi, Einstein Analytics.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to marketing campaigns, website traffic, customer behavior, and other relevant metrics.
- Develop and maintain (standardized) dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Translate data into actionable insights and pitch findings to the management.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to identify opportunities for optimization and growth, and develop strategies to improve performance.
- Utilize statistical and analytical tools to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in marketing data.
- Provide regular reports to management and other stakeholders on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective landing pages, ad creatives, and messaging to improve campaign performance.
- Constantly work with the business to create/refine reporting requirements
- Creation of report documentation and training materials for the users to easily understand the functionalities of tools and reports.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices related to marketing data analysis.
- Act as a consultant to internal customers by developing and sustaining solid relationships with internal stakeholders and
- Support management to manage respective cost budgets, conduct proper resource planning within a project or work package.
- Support management of vendor and agency relationships where required.

**Requirements needed**

Qualifications: Education, Experience and Personal Attributes
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in marketing or business administration or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
- 3+ years professional experience in data analytics, preferably in the medical device industry or agency environment.
- Experience in SAP, object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs
- Additional postgraduate and professional qualifications desirable
- Non-hierarchical team-oriented attitude
- Strong track record within a marketing / or sales organization
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making and proficiency in Google Analytics and other marketing analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities and deliver results on time.
- Proactive and accountable with distinct interpersonal skills to cultivate a network of effective working relationships in an international matrix environment
- Energetic, commercial, and performance-driven team player with entrepreneurial spirit and strong marketing and commercial execution abilities
- Able to translate data-driven insights and complex digital topics in a tangible way
- A passion for recent technology tools and full understanding of global digital marketing platforms
