Application Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support contract start-ups
- Training internal and new team menbers (Metris tools)
- Technical Support OPP contracts (Iberia, EMEA)
- Interface between technical specialists and local engineers
- Support regional manager on sales presentation, share and evaluate opportunities, technical proposals
- Support on contract reports
- Support on identify project opportunities
- Customer interface.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- Language: English (mandatory)
- Automation knowledge background
- Knowledge on advanced controls (fuzzy logic, artificial neural network, etc.)
- Pulp and paper industrial background
- Statistical tools knowledge
- Basic knowledge of instrumentation
- Knowledge on PDCA Loop (Plan, Do, Act and Check) Overall equipment efficiency, Performance Indicators
- ANDRITZ IT Tools (Andritz platforms, Metris, CRM, etc)

SCHOOL EDUCATION:

- Bachelor degree in Engineering (Automation, Mechanical, Eletronics, Chemical) or IT.
