**About the Role**:

- A once-in-a-career opportunity to join a global legal team integral to a company engaged in groundbreaking technology and passionate about solving some of the biggest challenges in the world - including changing the way regulators, courts and legislators think about the future of mobility, delivery, and beyond.
- We are looking for a dynamic lawyer to join our legal team in Iberia with a focus on our rides and delivery businesses in Spain. The position is based in Madrid while working in close collaboration with colleagues from across the globe, and reporting into the lead counsel for Iberia & Croatia.

**What You'll Do**:

- Counsel on a range of commercial and regulatory issues related to mobility and delivery in ways that are practical and commercial
- Draft and build key contracts with fleets, restaurants and delivery partners
- Collaborate closely with external counsels and prepare case strategy with them
- Partner with our Marketing team on pro-active and impactful campaigns and initiatives
- Counsel Consumer Law-related matters and disputes
- Work closely with our Employment, Policy, Tax, Communications, Privacy, Safety and Business teams to support regulatory engagement, strategic projects and to refine and shape business operations
- This is a hands-on role and you'll be expected to handle significant and complex legal matters with short turnaround times
- Be an active partner to the BD, Marketing and U4B/E4B teams on commercial contracts
- Work hard but have fun doing it

**What You'll Need**:

- 4+ years PQE in an international law firm or in the legal team of a global IT, TMT or mobility/delivery company
- Active bar registration in Spain
- Spanish native speaker and fluent in English (Portuguese or other latin languages a bonus)
- Excellent legal and business judgment, communication, interpersonal skills and a crisp writing style
- Proven track record of drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and advising on a range of commercial, regulatory and litigation issues

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Passion for technological innovation and the law
- Experience working in an industry that is heavily regulated such as e-commerce, technology, fintech or transportation
- Demonstrated effectiveness operating in complex organizational environments with strong stakeholder management skills and self-starter qualities
