We are looking for a **Procurement Category Manager**based in **Barcelona**.

**R**eimagine what's possible.**

As a**Procurement Category Manager,**you will:

- ** Commodity Strategy**: Lead the process to develop, negotiate, implement, and sustain commodity strategies aligned with business objectives. Lead project prioritization with stakeholders for both main areas in scope, Operations and Real Estate.
- ** Market Intelligence**: Develop through knowledge and benchmarks for market conditions to understand pricing trends, demand, capacity constraints, and financial stability of suppliers.
- ** Contract Management**: Participate in service level review agreements, resolve commercial issues, and review terms and conditions for new contracts.
- ** Supplier Management**: Manage supplier service level agreements, enhance contractor performance, and ensure compliance with safety and ethical trading requirements.
- ** Procurement Processes**: Conduct RFP and RFQ events, market research, supplier risk evaluation, and manage purchase orders and invoice issues. Identify areas for improvement in the procurement to pay process and implement necessary changes.
- ** Compliance and M&A**:Ensure compliance with local, regional, and global agreements and procedures, and support procurement M&A activities when required.

**You will have**:**
- **Bachelor’s degree** in business, Supply Chain or Engineering discipline.
- ** Proved experience in defining, leading, and developing Sourcing Strategies**, understanding of purchasing terms and conditions and commercial acumen is required, as well as international market experience.
- ** Real Estate**knowledge will be advantageous.
- SAP EPR knowledge required.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Excellent written and oral **Spanish**and **English**language skills, (French and Portuguese language skill is advantageous).
- Location: Office-based, with some travel required to visit suppliers and company sites.
- Drive car license required.
- Countries served: Spain, Portugal, Northern Africa, Italy.
