**Misión**
Reporting to Technical Office Director, the Innovation and New Technology manager oversees performing technology scouting and prospection in alignment with the business strategy providing its best knowledge and leading assessments on techno-economic feasibility on a startup’s portfolio.
**Funciones**:

- Understand and challenge companies’ solutions, technologies and underlining business cases. - Foresee technology proposal applicability and understand impacts on a potential scale up of the proposal - Prepare technology reports that supports investment approvals based on technology, implementation, pilot, execution, scale up criteria indicating strengths, weaknesses, risks and proposing how to manage these. - Define renewables and T&D technology roadmap that will address major industry challenges, white spaces and / or business opportunities. - Assess readiness levels of related technology, including current and projected technology costs and performance. - Advise and support innovation teams on key decisions regarding product features and technology elements. - Create overview and monthly reporting on portfolio capacity and progress. - Develop and maintain strong networks with industry representatives and key stakeholders around related technology.
**Habilidades y experiência**:

- Engineering degree associated with electrical power systems and/or electrical engineering or equivalent. - MBA or financial education is preferred. Ability to understand most used financial KPIs, capacity to develop and understand financial simulations and business cases. - Strong background on renewable and or transmission line industry. Proven track record and experience in technology role for more than 8 years. - Understanding on renewable industry and power systems dynamics. Knowledge on main renewables market drivers, policies, regulation, standards and future tendencies. - Deep knowledge in following industries and its technologies: solar PV, wind, power transmission and conversion, BESS, hydrogen, digital solutions. - Solid knowledge of the complete value chain from specification, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Experience with conducting pre-feasibility and full feasibility studies. - Familiar with innovation strategies, product development and TRL. - Ability to develop strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders - Strong influencing skills: ability to expose points of view effectively and gain support for their position, balancing technical and business considerations. - Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities. - Strong team player, ability to work with different teams across the organization to ensure sound management of key technical considerations with respect to the portfolio and investments. - Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced context and to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
