**Job Description**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Growth Manager to join our Innovation Growth team at Ferrovial. The Innovation Growth team is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, creating new business lines and revenue streams for Ferrovial, based on innovative technologies.
Job purpose
As part of the Innovation Growth Team you will be identifying opportunities to develop and deliver disruptive innovation projects based on emerging technologies to drive business value for Ferrovial in form of new services or products with a specific focus on infrastructure construction and concessions. Reporting directly to the Head of Innovation Growth.
As a Growth Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and developing new projects and initiatives. You will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, from ideation to execution, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify new growth opportunities for Ferrovial based on innovative technologies and market trends
- Develop and manage projects from ideation to execution, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with business objectives
- Drive technical teams to successfully develop new products based on emerging technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other Innovation Centers of Excellence, Digital Hub, Business Units to drive project success
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and preferences
- Develop business cases and financial models to support project proposals
- Monitor project progress and performance, and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful outcomes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers
Required education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant degree (ex. Civil engineering)
- Business formation. MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in project management in a technology or innovation-focused environment.
- Highly appreciated experience in a construction, concessions, renewable energy or water company.
- Strong understanding of market trends and emerging technologies
- Solid technical background at Innovation.
- Experience developing and managing complex projects from ideation to execution
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop business cases and financial models
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
Skills and competencies required to succeed
- Broad understanding of all aspects of business, strategic planning/building skills, and strong operational focus preferred
- Experience in emerging technologies such as AI, 3D printing, Internet of things, Mixed reality (VR/AR), Digital twins
- Strong track record of identification, analysis and development of new business opportunities
- Contract management and negotiation skills
- Stakeholder management skills
- Successful track record of developing and delivering proofs of concept and pilots with innovative technologies
- Strong leadership skills and proven track record of collaborative working across teams
- Innovation and entrepreneurial mentality - with a pragmatic approach
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to details
- Strong belief in getting things done (“Get Stuff Done”)
- Working in remote with an international team.
- Availability to travel
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Tech-savvy and able to transfer his skills to others
- Creativity and strategic thinking would be required
