Offer description:
We are looking for a R&D electrical engineer in our office in Barcelona to strengthen the team in the development of solutions for the future in connection with many innovative projects.
Reporting to the R&D Manager, you are involved in the design of new inductive products, and you manage their development through the Group's facilities.
You also ensure coordination in the manufacturing of the first parts (initial technical specifications, supply of raw materials, planning, customer relationship, validation).
**Your missions**:
- R&D studies from customer or internal specifications
- Calculation and design of technological solutions to meet the needs
- Drafting specifications of developed products
- Creation of initial bill of materials and technical files for prototypes
- Management of the manufacturing of the first parts on the industrial sites of development (plants)
- Tests and reports
- Follow-up of the project up to the qualification stage
- Technical support to client
- In-plant technical support
- Corporate R&D actions (development of design support tools, technology watch, innovation, patents, etc...)
**Your profile**:
- Electrical engineering degree, beginner or with a first industrial experience (1 to 3 years)
- Knowledge of electrical engineering in general and more specifically on transformers and power electronics (power supplies, converters, topologies : buck, flyback, forward, bridges, PFC...)
- Experience in analog electronics, measurement and/or filtering (EMC, audio )
- Knowledge of mechanics (3D modelling design, 2D drawings, metal sheets design...)
- Languages : Spanish, fluent English, French would be appreciated (German or Chinese would be a plus)
- IT tools : Solidworks/OnShape, Mathcad, Maxwell/Icepack, LTSpice/PSIM, SAP, Zoho
Autonomous, rigorous and well organized, your ability to analyze, your clear thinking, your sense of listening and your relational skills are essential assets to succeed in this position. Your experience already gained in the field will be a real advantage.
