Quality Systems Intern

The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Quality Systems organization for the implementation and maintenance of the Edwards QMS in the EMEA region.
We are offering a full-time/part-time internship for 6 months (approx. 6 hours a day)
**Location**: Valencia, Spain
Key Responsibilities
**Provide support on the Quality Country Operations activities**: audits management, management reviews, interplant agreements, maintenance of data, proposal of system improvement and execution of action plans.
Provide support to the BUs and the countries for the maintenance of the QMS
Collect and generate metrics, and draw inferences for system improvement opportunities
Required Skills and Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree student - Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharma or any other related field interested in medical device.
Fluent English required
Any previous related experience a big advantage
Understanding of medical devices regulations (e.g., FDA (21 CFR Part 820) and ISO13485)
User of MS Office Suite, advanced Excel Knowledge is a plus.
Knowledge of data analysis
Good project management skills
Great written and verbal communication
Good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Strict attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
Work is performed independently without close supervision
