**AP Accountant**

**Reporting to: Accounting Manager - Switzerland**

**Job Summary**:
MPS is seeking an energetic, efficient, self-motivated and resourceful team player to be a member of its accounting staff supporting our European subsidiaries.

The AP Accountant reports to Accounting Manager and will be based in Barcelona, Spain.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- AP / AR processing for SW and other EU entities
- Data Entry - Processing of invoices
- Reconciliation of purchase invoices with purchase orders
- Resolve payment issues and answer payment questions from company vendors
- Account reconciliation and help with month-end processes.
- Customs clearance answering to document requirements from authority.
- Goods/Service receipt + delivery notes verification.
- Organizes courier deliveries end to end including documentation.
- Supports purchase requisitions for operations, facilities and Admin.
- Supports expense reports review
- Ad-hoc projects as needed

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- BS/BA in business, accounting, administration or related field
- 3-5 years’ experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel.
- Fluent in Spanish, English (C1) and German
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and organization skills.
