If yes, keep reading About the role We are looking for a Junior Accountant (AP/AR) to join our Finance team. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day AR/AP operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all transactions, and supporting reporting and process improvements, while also providing support with payroll activities in both the US and Spain. What You'll Do Manage day-to-day AP, from receipt of invoices to payments, including treating invoices, matching purchase orders, obtaining approval and entering the invoices into Netsuite. Review and reconcile expenses submitted through Ramp to ensure accuracy, compliance with company policies, and timely processing. Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including issuing invoices, monitoring collections, applying cash, and performing reconciliations. Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and general ledger accounts. Keep customer and vendor records accurate and up to date. Support month-end closing and financial reporting. Provide support with payroll-related tasks in the US and Spain, coordinating with external providers and managing processes through Deel and Payfit. Support audits by providing documentation and information as needed. Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations and company policies. Partner with teams across Seqera to streamline processes. About you Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field 2-3 years of experience in AP/AR and accounting. Solid understanding of accounting principles. Familiarity with ERP/accounting software (Netsuite). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Nice to have: Previous exposure to SaaS or tech companies. Knowledge of Spanish GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS. Experience in expense management tools (Ramp). Experience working with payroll platforms such as Deel and Payfit.
