They are currently focused on expanding the Barcelona office and therefor recruiting for a Junior Accountant (English Speaker).
**Your responsibilities and impact working as a Junior Accountant will be**:
Your main focus as Junior Accountancy, ensuring accounting records ad maintained with company accounting policies.
Your main tasks include:
- Cash reporting, preparation of Cash Flow reports and Cash forecast
- Monitoring funding and bank approvals
- Performing intercompany journals and bank bookings
- Bank reconciliations
- Payroll postings
- Company database management
- Performing internal audit checks of master data
**Skills, experiences and interests you need to succeed in this role**:
- You are a fluent English speaker (full business proficiency) and knowledge of additional EU language is a plus
- A bachelors degree in Accounting, Business administration or other relevant fields
- You have primary industry experience related to accountancy or finance
- You are confident in using Excel
- You have excellent organization skills paying close attention to details in order to minimize mistakes
- You have strong analytical skills
- You are good at multitasking, professional and pro-active
- You have a hard worker mentality
