Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer to join Electrical Department and to be based in Madrid.

**Responsibilities**:

- Administer the package of Wood electrical engineering group
- Ensure that all EPC Electrical Engineers under his / her supervision work to the project procedures, specifications and standards, good engineering practices and techniques, and any project-specific requirements
- Supervise the day to day engineering interfaces between EPC core engineering group, Project Managers and the engineering teams assigned to the EPC package - includes interaction with all other specialist disciplines as required
- Participate in design reviews and engineering changes with customer as necessitated by design development and ensure core team are made aware of these
- Participate in key customer reviews and meetings as required
- Participate in project reviews, value engineering and value improvement workshops with customer
- Input engineering procedures and work practices in conjunction with Core Electrical Lead as appropriate

Skills / Qualifications:

- Degree in relevant discipline
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in major oil / gas refinery / petrochemical projects in the capacity of Senior electrical engineer with EPC organization
- Fully familiar with international codes, standards and recommended practices to be adopted during EPC phases of oil / gas projects
- Must have the capacity to develop detail design deliverables
- Must have proven ability to contribute during development of electrical system studies
- Fluent English and Spanish
- Holding a valid permit to live and work in Spain is required
